During his annual State of the Nation Address at a joint session of Parliament, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced the establishment of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.

The President emphasized that the new ministry would become a key instrument for advancing the country’s digital transformation.

“We need to work in a new way, using advanced AI technologies,” Tokayev stated.

In addition, the Head of State highlighted the need to adopt a Digital Code.
