Kazakhstan signs export agreements worth $50 million in CIIE 2024

At the Seventh China International Import Expo "new era, shared future," Kazakhstan is represented in two pavilions: national and commercial. The national stand demonstrates the country's achievements in digitalization and infrastructure, contributing to the development of cross-border trade and investment cooperation within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. On the first day of the event, Kazakh companies signed export agreements worth $50 million, confirming the high interest of Chinese consumers in domestic products, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

The country's commercial stand brought together 50 manufacturers of agro-industrial and textile products. In total, 550 Kazakh companies are registered in the CIFER Single Window system, which have received the right to export to China.

In particular, in the world's largest confectionery market, Chinese buyers are interested in Kazakh products, many of which are already sold through e-commerce channels.

Kazakh agricultural products, including meat and animal feed, are also in demand in the Chinese market, In the sector of fat-and-oil products. Kazakhstan is also showing success, having increased the volume of exports to China by 27% compared to last year.

The organizer of Kazakhstan's commercial stand at CIIE 2024 is QazTrade JSC with the support of the Kazakh Ministry of Trade and Integration.
