Kazakhstan`s exports to US increase by 77.2% in 7 months

Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and US amounted to $1.5 billion in January – July

This is 36.6% higher than in the same period of the previous year ($ 1.1 billion), El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Exports from Kazakhstan to the United States in January-July 2022 increased by 77.2% and amounted to $ 769.2 million.

The growth of exports to the United States is due to the increase in the supply of such goods as crude oil - by 98.1% or by $ 228 million (from $ 232.5 to $ 460.6 million), ferroalloys - an increase of 2.3 times or $ 117.5 million (from $ 88.2 to $ 205.8 million).

The main export goods from Kazakhstan to the United States: crude oil - $ 460.6 million (with a share of 59.9%), ferroalloys - $ 205.8 million (26.7%), sulfur, except for freeze-dried, precipitated or colloidal sulfur - $ 21 million (2.7%), hydrogen, inert gases and other nonmetals - $ 16.7 million (2.2%), pipes, tubes and seamless profiles of ferrous metals - $ 14 million (1.8%), tantalum and products from it - $ 13 million (1.7%).
