Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageFrom January to November 2023, 97.5 thousand tons of chocolate and sugar and chocolate confectionery were produced in Kazakhstan. This is 9.9 thousand tons more than in the same period last year, El.kz reports, citing data from the Bureau of National Statistics.
This means that the production of chocolate and confectionery in the country increased by 11.3% compared to January-November 2022. During the first ten months of 2023, the share of imported chocolate products in the Kazakh market amounted to 52.8%.
For 10 months of this year, 155.9 thousand tons of chocolate and confectionery products were sold in the domestic market of Kazakhstan. In addition, 30 thousand tons of these sweets were exported.
