Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov met with Nail Akhmetzakirov, head of the Judicial Administration, El.kz reports citing the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Amendments to the judicial system, developed by a working group at the Senate, were discussed. These changes affect the Constitutional Law, procedural codes and special laws, as well as introduce a new mechanism that automatically refers violations to the Judicial Jury.
In addition, it is planned to improve the social package for retired judges and access to the Academy of Justice for lawyers outside the civil service.
Nail Akhmetzakirov stressed that the implementation of these changes will not require additional funds from the budget.
