This is the only way to ensure sustainable growth of industry, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Currently, there is a shortage of electric capacity in the country. Ensuring stability is very important to attract investors to our country. Nuclear power is a stable source of energy. Given the dynamics of technology development in the global nuclear industry, we can say that at present nuclear energy meets full maximum safety," said Nursultan Syzdykov, Deputy Chief Power Engineer of PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP.
The refinery currently processes up to 6 million tons of oil per year. In the near future, the implementation of a project to increase the production capacity of the oil refining enterprise to 12 million tons per year will begin.
