Over the past three years, the number of registered inventions in Kazakhstan amounted to 1954, of which 226 inventions were registered in the first five months of this year alone. This growth is indicative of significant progress in innovation and scientific research in the country, El.kz reports.

"Among the latest registered inventions, we can note the Kazakh technology for obtaining cell models from stem cells of the human synovial membrane for the regeneration of cartilage tissue," the speaker said.

The synovial membrane is a thin membrane that lines the joints and secretes the lubricating fluid necessary for their normal functioning.

This innovative development is the result of many years of work by a group of scientists from the National Center for Biotechnology. The new method, which has been granted a patent titled "A Method for Producing 3D Spheroids from Human Synovial Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Cartilage Regeneration," represents a significant step forward in the fields of medicine and biotechnology.

- Stem cells are able to modulate the immune response and actively participate in the regeneration of damaged organs and tissues. Invention "A method for obtaining 3D spheroids from human synovial mesenchymal stem cells for the regeneration of cartilage tissue," official representative of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Uali said about the advantages of this invention.
