Within the framework of the Czech-Kazakhstan business forum, held in Astana, in the presence of the Prime Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Committee of Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Prague Zoo on the reintroduction of Przewalski's horses, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Committee of Forestry and Wildlife Nurlan Kylyshbayev from the Kazakh side, and the Director of the Prague Zoo Mr. Miroslav Bobek from the Czech side.

It is worth noting that in December last year, a meeting was held with the Czech side with the participation of representatives of the Institute of Zoology and the Kazakhstan Association for Biodiversity Conservation, as a result of which the territories of the Altyn-Emel, Kolsai Kolderi national parks and the Altyn Dala State Nature Reserve were identified as potential for the reintroduction of the Przewalski's horse.
