Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageFrom September 2024 till January, the volume of grain transportation via the KTZ network amounted to 6.1 million tons. The growth in export volumes amounted to 47%, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The most common destination for the exports are Uzbekistan (1.8 million tons ), Tajikistan (724 thousand tons), China (659 thousand tons), Afghanistan ( 217 thousand tons), Iran (576 thousand tons), Azerbaijan (266 thousand tons) .
At the end of 2024, 10.6 million tons of grain were transported, of which 2.5 million tons were within the country, 8.1 million tons were exported.
In addition, 3.2 million tons of flour were transported during the year, of which 817 thousand tons were transported in Kazakhstan, 2.4 million tons were exported (+3% growth). The main importers of flour are the countries of Central Asia, China, Afghanistan and others.
