Kazakhstan establishes Committee for regulating gambling and lotteries

A new Committee for regulating gambling and lotteries has been created in Kazakhstan,El.kz reports.

According to the government decree of September 4, the department will regulate the gambling business and lotteries, promptly resolving industry issues. Now the Ministry of Tourism and Sports includes three committees:

- Committee for Sports and Physical Culture;

- Tourism Industry Committee;

- Committee for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries.

The creation of a new committee will allow for more effective regulation and control of the gambling sector.
