The updated list of the world’s largest computing systems now includes two developments from Kazakhstan. This marks the country’s first-ever appearance in the international TOP-500 ranking.
The supercomputer of JSC “NIT” under the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development ranked 86th, while the system of JSC “Kazakhtelecom” took 103rd place.
According to official data, the computing power will be available to research centers, universities, IT companies, startups, and government agencies. The inclusion in the ranking is considered an important step in developing national digital infrastructure and expanding opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence.
