This was announced by the press secretary of the President Ruslan Zheldybay on his Facebook page, El.kz reports.
“As you know, the other day the Head of State took part in the II Eurasian Economic Forum in Moscow.
During the event, the President made a number of statements, which are now widely discussed by the expert community.
In this regard, I would like to note that the key message of the Head of State was that integration within the framework of the EAEU can and should go exclusively along the economic track. Going beyond it violates the goals, principles and objectives of the organization's statutory documents.
As the President emphasized, economic integration is not an end in itself, but one of the means of developing economies and improving the well-being of our peoples.
That is, any decisions made within the framework of the association should bring results to each of its individual participants and, above all, to citizens of all EAEU states.
In addition, the issue of the so-called multi-level integration was also touched upon.
Indeed, today two members of the EAEU – Russia and Belarus – demonstrate a higher and closer level of rapprochement. This is a unique precedent. As the Head of State noted, in fact, we are talking about one people and state. And in this vein, it is very important to separate the initiatives within the framework of the two integration projects, which have completely different goals.
As for our country, Kazakhstan does not intend and does not plan to create or join any union states” the message reads.
