Speaking at the fifth session of the Ulttyq Qurultay in Kyzylorda, Mazhilis deputy Sergey Ponomaryov expressed concern that the younger generation is developing so-called “clip thinking,” while analytical skills remain weak,El.kz reports.
According to Speaker, this is becoming one of the reasons for the growing a gap, as so-called “Z” and “Alpha” generations are increasingly struggling to understand adults.
Addressing the participants, Sergey Ponomaryov also drew attention to the transformation of social media and its influence on social and political processes. In his view, the dominance of digital platforms has led to a decline in face-to-face communication, an increase in impulsive actions.
The deputy emphasized that social media today is not only a communication tool but also an important political mechanism.
Many changes in society are implemented through online platforms, and therefore these processes require in-depth analysis.
