The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of multilateral and regional structures, including the UN, CICA, OIC, IOFS.
Following the talks, the ministers signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports, which will make a positive contribution to strengthening bilateral relations.
In recent years, there has been an expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. For 7 months of 2023, bilateral trade reached 53.8 million US dollars, an increase of 133% compared to the same period last year.
