Kazakhstan and World Ethnosport Confederation agree to cooperate to preserve cultural heritage

Kazakhstan's Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabosynov held a meeting with World Ethnosport Confederation President Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan within the framework of the World Nomad Games, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the Minister noted the importance of the Nomad Games in the development of the ethno-sports movement and the preservation of historical cultural heritage. The Head of the department stressed that the World Ethnosport Confederation actively supports initiatives to hold ethno-sports events, sports traditions, as well as their integration into modern sports programs.

"The World Nomad Games is an important sporting event in the Turkic world, which will show the results of the hard work of our athletes over the years. One of the main tasks of the Ethnosport Confederation is the revival and popularization of traditional sports of the peoples of the world," the minister said.

The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of organizing ethno-sports events, as well as the development of joint projects aimed at popularizing ethnic sports among young people. At the end of the meeting, the minister thanked Erdoğan for the visit and added that close cooperation between Kazakhstan and the World Ethnosport Confederation will be a solid foundation for the further development of ethnic sports, strengthening cultural ties and preserving historical heritage for future generations.
