This is part of the work to launch direct flights that will connect Kazakhstan and the United States.
The U.S. body verifies compliance with international civil aviation standards of countries whose airlines have applied for flights operate flights to the United States.
The IASA's preliminary assessment is aimed at obtaining Category 1 status from the FAA in the future, which will allow Kazakh airlines to launch direct flights between Kazakhstan and the United States if they have the appropriate aircraft.
