Kazakhstan and Slovenia aim at expanding cooperation

Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Slovenia Daniyar Sarekenov met with the State Secretary for European and Political Affairs, International Law and Protection of Interests of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Marko Stucin, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting, theу discussed the existing potential and opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in priority areas, including trade, economic and investment, as well as plans for the implementation of joint projects with the participation of Slovenian business.

The Kazakh diplomat noted the importance of the upcoming political consultations with the participation of the State Secretary Štucin in Astana in November this year in the context of maintaining regular political dialogue and preparing for the planned visit of the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar to Kazakhstan in 2025.

In turn, Marko Štucin confirmed his readiness to further develop comprehensive cooperation with Kazakhstan, an important and reliable partner of Slovenia in Central Asia, and stated that he highly appreciates the decision of the Kazakh leadership to open a diplomatic mission in Ljubljana.

The parties agreed to maintain contacts to further coordinate joint efforts on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Slovenia.
