As part of the official visit of Kazakh President to Serbia, the delegation of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry held a number of significant meetings, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development met with Minister for Science, Technological Development, and Innovation of Serbia Jelena Begović.
The meeting centred on the issues of cooperation in the field of scientific research in space and the use of space technologies in various sectors of the economy.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science of Serbia in the field of space activities.
"We are confident that the implementation of these initiatives will allow our countries to reach a new level of cooperation. Space technologies are becoming an important tool for the digitalization of the economy," said Minister Zhaslan Madiyev.
A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between the Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications of Serbia in the field of information and communication technologies. The document is aimed at developing the IT sector and promoting the socio-economic development of the two countries.
