The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Energy in Kazakhstan Ilyas Bakytzhan and Director General of the Platform of Digital Technologies for the SCO Countries Tjun Dan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.
During the talks, the parties discussed further cooperation and the possibility of implementing investment projects in the energy sector, in particular, the active development of the scientific and technical potential of the SCO countries, including the training and advanced training of specialists in the energy industries.
Also, during the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation on Digital Transformation in the Energy Sector, which will give a new impetus to the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the SCO in the energy sector.
The memorandum will also provide an opportunity to exchange experience in the field of digital, intelligent and renewable energy, the development of information technologies, electricity storage systems, projects for the production of energy from renewable sources, improvement of energy infrastructure, etc.
