Kazakhstan and Saint Kitts and Nevis Signed Agreement on Visa-free Regime

Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations Akan Rakhmetullin and Permanent Representative of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations Mutryce Williams signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis on mutual exemption from visa requirements, El.kz cites MFA. 

This agreement provides for the abolition of entry visas for all types of passports for a period of up to 90 calendar days.

The Agreement will enter into force 90 days after the parties receive written notifications through diplomatic channels confirming the completion of domestic procedures necessary for the entry into force of this agreement.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the foreign missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is continuously working actively to expand the list of countries exempting citizens of Kazakhstan from visa requirements.

The primary objective of this effort is to enhance the reputation of the passport and the citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a whole. Simultaneously, mutual exemption from visa requirements fosters increased attraction for foreign tourists and foreign direct investment in Kazakhstan.

Saint Kitts and Nevis has become the 40th country where holders of national passports of the Republic of Kazakhstan do not require visas.
