The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar Arman Issagaliyev met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture of Qatar Ghanim Al-Ali, El.kz cites MFA.
During the conversation, the parties reviewed the progress of preparations for holding the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan and Qatar in the capitals of the two countries in 2025. The parties expressed confidence that the events will make a significant contribution to the further strengthening of mutual ties and promoting closer acquaintance with the cultures of both nations.
Ambassador noted that cultural exchange is an integral part of bilateral relations. As an important step, he proposed to establish a partnership between cultural institutions, including the aim to promote the common and traditional cultural heritage of nomadic peoples.
In turn, Ganim Al-Ali confirmed his readiness to strengthen cooperation with the Kazakh side in such promising areas as museums, theater, music, opera, art, crafts and film production. In addition, he noted the importance of coordinating efforts in international structures on issues of preserving the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the two countries.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize mutual visits of interested institutions and implement joint projects in order to enhance cooperation in the field of culture.
