Kazakhstan and Peru strengthen bilateral co-operation

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akan Rakhmetullin received the Ambassador of Peru to Kazakhstan concurrently Juan Genaro del Campo Rodriguez, El.kz cites MFA.

The visit of the Ambassador (with residence in Moscow) took place on the occasion of signing agreements in the field of international legal co-operation with the General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan.

Thus, for Kazakhstan, Peru has become another Latin American country with which a complete legal framework in the field of international criminal proceedings has been formed.

During the meeting at the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the parties held discussions on a number of key bilateral and multilateral issues. The focus was on exploring ways to further enhance political, trade, and economic dialogue, including transit-transport cooperation.
