Kazakhstan and OPEC strengthen partnership for stability of world oil market

Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy Erlan Akkenzhenov held a meeting with the Secretary General of OPEC, His Excellency Haitham Al Ghais, in Astana,El.kz reports citing the press service of the ministry.

During the meeting, the minister reaffirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to the historic OPEC+ Agreement and the readiness to continue joint efforts to ensure stability in the global oil market.

Both sides highly appreciated the results of the interaction and the agreements reached during the '8 countries' meeting.

Kazakhstan expressed its readiness for further close cooperation with OPEC and the states participating in the agreement, emphasizing its commitment to strengthening stability in the global market in the interests of producers, consumers, and the global economy as a whole.
