Kazakhstan and Latvia strengthen agricultural cooperation

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia Armands Krause,El.kz cites Kazakh FM.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views and proposals to intensify Kazakh-Latvian cooperation in the field of agriculture. In particular, special attention was paid to the issues of agro-industrial complex, as well as forest reproduction, including exchange of experts, technologies and experience.

In addition, the parties confirmed their interest in holding joint events in the current year. In this context, Minister Krause was invited to visit the largest industry exhibition “KazAgro/KazFarm-2025”.

At the end of the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat proposed to consider the possibility of forming in the near future a contractual legal framework of the two countries in the agro-industrial complex.
