Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageAn exhibition on calligraphy has opened at the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Culture and Information.
It presents over 50 samples of historical inscriptions written in Kufic script, copies of "Zobdat-ul-Tarikh" of the 13th century about the life of historical figures, manuscripts of the 18th century about the leaders of the Turkic peoples of Central Asia.
According to the director of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books, Zhandos Bekdildauly, the strongest calligraphers and restorers of Iran came to the exhibition.
Within the framework of the event, they will exchange experience with specialists from Kazakhstani archives, libraries and museums in the field of restoration and digitization of ancient manuscripts, cataloguing, systematization, digitalization and calligraphy of ancient manuscripts and rare books.
