President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the SecretaryGeneral of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset,  El.kz reports citing Aqorda.

The meeting focused on the prospects for strengthening comprehensive cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Council of Europe.

The Head of State emphasized our country's commitment to deepening interaction with the European organization.

The President informed about the implementation of a large-scale program of political reforms aimed at building a Just Kazakhstan.

For his part, Alain Berset expressed the readiness of the Council of Europe for further cooperation with Kazakhstan.
