On October 18, 2024, in Beijing (People's Republic of China), the Astana – Beijing 2024 Roadshow was held on behalf of the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, at the site of the Kunlun Beijing Hotel.
The opening ceremony began with the welcoming words of the Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China Askar Shalkarbayev.
The event was attended by representatives of Kazakh tour operators, travel agencies and hotel business, which contributed to strengthening cooperation and establishing new business ties between representatives of the tourism markets of Kazakhstan and China.
Within the framework of the road show, 7 cooperation agreements were signed between the tourism industry of Kazakhstan and China.
The organizers were the Akimat of Astana, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the People's Republic of China and the Astana Development Center with the Visit Astana tourist brand. The program included road shows and B2B meetings, which became key elements for discussing the prospects for cooperation and promoting Kazakh tourism in the Chinese market.
