Kazakhstan and China sign agreements worth $2.5 billion

Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov signed eight commercial agreements with leading Chinese companies worth $2.5 billion during his visit to Shanghai, El.kz reports.

These agreements cover fields of energy, metallurgy, automotive and high technology, which contributes to strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two states.

Representatives of such companies as China Huadian Corporation, CHN Energy and Zijin Mining Group took part at the event.

The signing of these agreements underlines the strengthened relationship between the business communities of both countries, as well as opens up opportunities for creating new jobs and increasing investment.
