Kazakhs may impose a ban on online betting

Gambling addicts in Kazakhstan can  impose a ban on online betting themselves, El.kz reports.

The initiative is being implemented by the Ministry of Tourism and Digital Development. Kazakhstanis and foreign citizens living in the country have the opportunity to apply for self-exclusion for a period of six months to a year through the eGov mobile application.

This measure aims to help people with gambling addiction, allowing them to block access to official gambling venues and websites of licensed betting companies in an instant, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports emphasizes.
