Kazakh Ministry of Internal sends request to US Department of Justice

As reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs during a briefing for the media, information about pseudo-investments in Kazakhstani national companies with the promise of high incomes is increasingly spreading in the network and messengers, El.kz reports.

The department clarified that during the verification of the domain names of a number of sites and resources, it was found that they are registered in the United States.

"The site consists of one main page, where the registration form and the text on the successful completion of registration and the creation of a personal account are posted. There is reason to believe that the site is phishing and is designed to collect personal data of citizens. To establish the owners of these resources, a corresponding request was sent to the US Department of Justice," the Interior Ministry said.

So, since the beginning of the year, 769 frauds related to the promise of high incomes have been registered. In 120 cases, fraudsters lured citizens with "investments" in various companies. Since the beginning of the year, the police have identified 121 such resources.
