Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi confirmed the information about the upcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.
"The President of Russia will come to Kazakhstan to participate in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia. It is also planned to hold the Council of CIS Heads of State. We expect the President of Russia to take part," Mukhtar Tleuberdi said on the sidelines of the Palace of Independence before the start of the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
According to him, this will happen in mid-October.
"We are awaiting official confirmation. On each visit, the heads of state hold bilateral meetings. Kazakhstan is not subject to secondary sanctions. We have created a government working group to prevent the negative impact of anti-Russian sanctions on our economy, including to prevent secondary sanctions. There are regular consultations with the European Commission and with the US administration," the minister added.
