Kazakh and Russian Ministers of Defense meet in Moscow

Kazakh Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov met with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in Moscow, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was held within the Concil`s meeting of Defence Ministers of the CIS member States. The parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia in the military field.

"A substantive dialogue was held on staff development, joint combat training activities, military-technical cooperation. The parties exchanged views on the challenges and threats in the Central Asian region," the Defense Ministry added.
