Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageThe Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the launch of an initiative to train future teachers through the Coursera platform. Now Kazakh universities will be able to create individual educational paths (Learning Paths) for students and undergraduates, which will allow them to gradually master new knowledge and skills, El.kz reports.
These educational trajectories will include courses and projects to develop the key competencies of future teachers. Training programs will allow students to develop skills in organizing the educational process, assessing student results, as well as working with modern educational technologies and AI.
In addition, the programs include courses to improve skills in effectively teaching complex topics, managing time and developing students' self-regulation skills.
Upon completion of the training, students will receive a digital badge with the logo of the university, which confirms their professional skills and competencies.
The Ministry continues to strive to ensure that the training of specialists in Kazakhstan meets international standards and the requirements of the modern labor market, providing graduates with a high level of knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career.
