Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageAstana IT University is is actively introducing AI technologies in medicine and biomechanics, El.kz reports.
Key projects:
– Development of a system for diagnosing and predicting breast cancer using artificial intelligence.
This project is being implemented within the framework of program-targeted financing for 2024-2026. By the end of this year, it is planned to start a pilot implementation in oncological dispensaries.
– Creation of bionic prosthetic arm with the function of automatic recognition of muscle signals.
At the moment, the first prototype has been developed, and in 2026 it is planned to complete the creation of the final product and move on to clinical trials.
Both projects are funded under the state program to support scientific developments, and their results can significantly change the approach to the diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients.
