Tennis player from Kazakhstan defeated Greek athlete Eleni Cordolaimi (927th racket of the world) in two sets with score of 7:6, 6:3. Kulambayeva is the first seed of the Turkish tournament.
In the quarterfinals, the Kazakhstani tennis player will meet with the winner of the Italian-Russian pair Rizzeto - Sukhotina.
