Tennis player from Kazakhstan Dmitry Popko (417th in the ATP ranking) met with Brazilian Orlando Luz (366th place) in the first round of the tournament in Buenos Aires (Argentina), El.kz reports citing Sports.kz.
Luz won the first set – 5:7, but then Popko was able not only to return to the game, but also to achieve a confident victory – 6:4, 6:1. Thus, the Kazakh reached the 1/8 finals, where he will play with the German tennis player Timo Stodder (327th place).
