Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is on a working trip to Zhetysu region, has visited Karatal Museum of Local History, El.kz reports citing the Akorda press service.
The two-storey building which covers the area of 2,520 square meters displays around 350 exhibits featuring local history.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev got familiarized himself with the archeological artifacts and ethnographic antiques of the museum.
The President also met with the local intellectual community.
