The Head of State received the newly appointed Mayor of Almaty city Darkhan Satybaldy, El.kz reports via Akorda.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed on the priority areas of the upcoming work, including plans for socio-economic development, improvement of the urban environment, and enhancement of the quality of life for the residents of Almaty.

The Head of State has set a number of key objectives for the development of the metropolis, including ensuring sustainable economic growth, diversifying the structure of the economy, comprehensive modernization of urban infrastructure, as well as improving the condition of the road transport network and addressing environmental issues.
