Welcoming the high-ranking EU representative at Akorda, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of further strengthening the multifaceted cooperation with the European Union — one of Kazakhstan’s key and reliable partners, El.kz reports citing Aqorda.

The Head of State noted that an important milestone in the development of bilateral relations was the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, the 10th anniversary of which is being marked this year.

 Tokayev also highly praised the active and constructive dialogue between the Central Asian countries and the EU.

For his part, Edgars Skuja reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to further strengthening relations with Kazakhstan, expressing confidence in the dynamic development of practical cooperation across a wide range of bilateral and regional issues.
