Kazakh President congratulates Gennady Golovkin on being elected as President of World Boxing

The Head of State emphasized that GGG is the first representative of Kazakhstan to lead an international federation of an Olympic sport, El.kz reports citing Aqorda.

The President also noted that the election of the World Boxing President is a recognition of the achievements of the outstanding boxer.

“This event testifies to the recognition of Gennady Golovkin’s remarkable accomplishments, who has become the first representative of Kazakhstan to head an international federation of an Olympic sport,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wrote.
