Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageSince the beginning of 2025, Border Service of Kazakhstan has identified 91 individuals with dual citizenship trying to cross the state border, El.kz reports with reference to the NSC of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
All those identified were transferred to the police for further investigation.
In 2024, 1,190 cases of dual citizenship were discovered at the state border. Most of the violators are citizens of neighboring countries.
The Border Service of Kazakhstan reminded that dual citizenship is not permitted in Kazakhstan and urged residents of the region to comply with the law.
