Kazakh PM Olzhas Bektenov takes part in meeting of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan

Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov participated in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan, as well as discussed the digital agenda of the Union with the heads of government of the EAEU member states at the Eurasian Economic Forum session titled Digitization in Modern Realities, the Imperative to Ensure Four Freedoms,  El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan.

The heads of government of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, as well as the First Vice President of Iran attended the event.

During his speech, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan noted the need for the full implementation of the integrated information system of the Union, which will ensure the interstate exchange of data and electronic documents between the participating countries.

At the meeting of the EIC in a narrow and expanded format, joint measures to further strengthen cooperation in the fields of trade, transport and logistics, and the agro-industrial complex were considered.
