Kazakh para judoka Beksultan Kulmyrza won a gold medal at 2025 IBSA World Championships Astana,El.kz reports citing Kazakh Tourism and Sports Ministry.
On Day 1, Beksultan Kulmyrza defeated Galymzhan Smagululy in the men’s 81 kg J2 finals.
The fight lasted 3 minutes and 11 seconds.
More than 350 athletes from 40 countries are taking part in the competitions, including 15 Paralympic champions and medalists. The tournament is held in categories J1 and J2, where athletes with various visual impairments compete.
