The Kazakh national team performed well at the 55th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO-2023), winning four medals in Zurich, Switzerland. The Olympiad was held from 16 to 25 July and brought together 350 students from 88 countries, El.kz reports.
Sanjar Bisenali is a student of the 12th grade of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics of the City in Astana, won a gold medal.
Rinat Ilyusizov is a student of the 10th grade of school-lyceum No. 8 for gifted children in the city of Pavlodar, won a silver medal.
Almira Nurlanova, a student of the 12th grade of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics of the City of the city of Aktau, also won a silver medal.
Bekbolat Mamyrbekov, a student of the 11th grade of the Bilim-Innovation Lyceum for gifted children of the East Kazakhstan region, received a bronze medal.
