Today, a meeting of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the World Bank Governor from Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov and the World Bank Regional Director for CA Tatyana Proskuryakova was held in Kazakh capital , El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
Andrey Mikhnev, the new World Bank Country Manager for Kazakhstan, who took up his duties in February this year, also took part in the event.
During the meeting, the parties summed up the interim results of the ongoing projects of the Partnership Framework Strategy for 2020-2025, and also discussed the technical and analytical support provided by the bank within the framework of the Joint Economic Research Program.
"Since 2022, together with the bank's employees, procedures are being carried out to coordinate a new draft Agreement. In addition, the participants discussed upcoming events and work plans for the development of energy in the region, decarbonization of the economy and digitalization of rural areas," the ministry said.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to intensify cooperation in all important areas.
