Kazakh MFA discussed issues of cooperation within framework of Organization of Turkic States

On the eve of the 10th anniversary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu received the Secretary General of the OTS Kubanychbek Omuraliev, El.kz reports with reference to the Kazakh MFA.

During the meeting, Minister M. Nurtleu noted that Kazakhstan, as the initiator of the creation of the Organization, attaches special importance to the issues of Turkic integration. He highly appreciated the work of the OTS Secretariat in preparing the anniversary event. The Kazakh diplomat also spoke about the Concept of Kazakhstan's Chairmanship in the Organization of Turkic States for 2023-2024.

In turn, Secretary General K. Omuraliev informed about the current activities of the amalgamated community. He shared his opinion that the anniversary forum will be a bright event in the history of the Organization. He expressed readiness to work closely with Kazakhstan as the future Chairman of the OTS.

The parties also discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation in the political, trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres and came to a consensus on the need to strengthen the economic block of cooperation.
