Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageThe President held a meeting with the CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group Mohammed Al-Shamisi, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.
The meeting discussed prospects for the implementation of investment projects in the field of transport and logistics.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the plans of Abu Dhabi Ports Group to develop maritime and port infrastructure in the Caspian Sea and the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with the national company KazMunayGas.
The Head of State noted that Kazakhstan intends to become a full-fledged transport hub in Central Asia and the Caspian region and is working on diversifying transport destinations.
In particular, our country is actively developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and the North-South Transport Corridor.
Mohammed Al-Shamisi thanked the President for the meeting and spoke about plans for cooperation with Kazakhstani companies. Abu Dhabi Ports expects to establish mutually beneficial partnerships and provide various maritime services and solutions in the Caspian Sea and in the region as a whole, as well as in the transport and logistics industry.
Recall, the Head of State during his visit to the United Arab Emirates took part in the opening ceremony of the abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week summit.
