As part of the presentation of the draft republican budget for the period 2024-2026, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Minister of Finance Yerulan Zhamaubayev made a number of key statements, El.kz reports with reference to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is planned that budget revenues in 2024 will reach 20.4 trillion tenge. Meanwhile, budget expenditures will increase by 1.5 trillion tenge compared to 2023, amounting to approximately 24 trillion tenge. It should be noted that the greatest emphasis in the budget is placed on the social sphere.
The Deputy Prime Minister also announced his intention to attract transfers from the National Fund in the amount of 3.6 trillion tenge next year. These additional resources will be directed to social and infrastructure initiatives that are important for the country. Among them:
Modernization of transport infrastructure, including roads, as well as heat, gas and water supply networks.
Development of engineering networks.
Construction of new social facilities within the framework of national projects, such as "Comfortable School" and "Modernization of Rural Healthcare".
These measures are designed to improve the quality of life of the population and improve the social and infrastructural environment of the republic.
