Kazakh Foreign Minister Receives British Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu received Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Kazakhstan Kathy Leach, El.kz cites MFA.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of Kazakh-British cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres as well as people-to-people ties. They reviewed the schedule of upcoming high level visits and events.

The meeting also focused on the issue of broadening the legal framework of the bilateral cooperation. The parties underlined the importance of signing the Strategic Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Kazakhstan and the UK in the nearest future.

Furthermore, the parties underscored the great potential of cooperation in the field of science and education and expressed mutual interest in implementing joint projects.
