The parties discussed the progress of establishing an agro-industrial cluster. At the initial stage, the investment project will cover the Zhetysu and Almaty regions, with 150 thousand hectares of pasture and fallow lands to be converted into irrigated agricultural land. In total, as part of the project’s implementation, it is planned to develop 300 thousand hectares using modern water-saving systems.
Minister Nurtleu emphasized the importance of further advancing the project and expressed readiness to provide state support.
The prospects for the company’s implementation of investment projects in the field of tourism and sport in a number of regions of Kazakhstan were also outlined.
The Kazakh Foreign Minister stressed that these projects have the potential to become a growth point for domestic and inbound tourism, as well as for economic diversification.
